AREA 50:
If your wondering what or why we have a page on AREA50.. Its beacause that is what our
racesauce car cruises are named after. Its not a crew, team, or bunch of models. Its just a name.
To date we have held over 20 car cruises, 2 of which during the day and the rest where at night. How succesful are these
car cruises? Well on average we get about 100 cars. Our most every was a cruise we threw for Andrew & Ryan who passed
away on Oct. 12th 2003. That totaled to an estimated 400 cars at DillingHam Costco Parking Lot.
What do we do on these cruises? Well their are several things.. you have a chance to meet car crews,
or people from around the scene including shop owners that bring out their shop cars. Their are also bike crews
that represent and give the crowd a stunt shot, like what Usual Suspects or ThreatOptions do at the track for Stunt Day. Its also
a chance to see how well people can follow directions. We pass out flyers on almost all our cruises detailing what pit stops
we will make or meeting spots we drive to. Some how people haven't lived on the island long enough to know where places are
and often tend to get lost.
Despite all the rumors of he said she said, about the "Racesauce Area50 Night Cruises." Where gonna lay it down straight on this page.
1) We do not publisize our events through advertising or paper flyers in hopes of drawing anyone and everyone including law enforcement.
2) We do not hire law enforment to escort us on our events
3) We are not a car crew, we are a team of staff memeber dedicated to bringing you racesauce events and media coverage.
4) We do not have staff members other then the ones that are listed on our staff page. Staff members who usually put on and contact about these events
are Alex Kamm, Scott Bock, Brian Chow, Koa Nu'uhiwa, Ed Kim, Khota Kodoma, and mostly anyone who would be affialted with racesauce.
5) We usually pass out flyers on our cruises, that have a detailed route and our name or AREA50 on it.
6) Please double check with the person who told you "A brah i heard theirs a racesauce cruise tonight" Is their really one, i suggest
you check their sources because alot of people tend to throw fake racesauce cruises in hopes of drawing a large crowd.
7) Why do cruises get broken up? Well lets think about it this way...
- Their are more then 100 cars attending a cruise.
- Could you control over 100 cars on what to do and where to do it, especially in times of useless panic?
- For atleas half the cars that come, their is a passenger, so that means more confusion on the part of
who's reading directions and who's in control.
- Young kids tend to see a blue light in the distance and start to scatter to their cars. Let me just say that most of the
law enforment friend that I have, have said to us "Yeah where down to chill, but you guys just start running away and making
loud noises, or peeling out. Thats when we have to do something about it" Law enforcement are our friends guys, unless
where doing something illegal or a property manager has called them on location to kick us out, their is no reason to
panic and cuase a chain reaction.
