DVD Review
Grip Video - Vol.5
By Brian Chow
Our friends over at Grip video are becoming more and more popular as the
import craze sweeps over the nation and throughout the world. Racesauce
brings you a review of their latest released DVD, vloume 5. This issue
oozes with content like no other previous one in my opinion. Three
unbelievable hot featured cars, a supra and teo 350z's from the likes of
Veilside, Greddy and C-West will make your jaw drop.
A video ain't a video without some event footage, Grip brings you the International Auto Salon
(IAS), Signal's Drift Challenge and Import Extreme Honolulu. Can you say
girls? for the technical side of this video the guys visit A&J Racing in
BC home to a dope Integra Type-R, Blast Racing's new shop in Cali and a
stop off at Endless USA to talk about brakes. Benson Hsu and RJ Devera
reveal their lives to us more and Ernie Fixmer does a wild touge run at a
secret spot. And for you euro lovers out there Wheel Power takes you on a
ride with a Hamman tuned E46 SMG M3 drop top. I was glued to my seat the
whole time as I watched hoping not to make a trip to the bathroom.
Knowing what it's like to use a video camera I'm well aware of the time
and the patience that it takes to get the right footage. Videos like these
are not only revealing but can also be informative guides to all you
inspiring video makers out there. I just thought I'd share a little more
with you viewers then just a review. Haha
Well this video has it all. Mike and the guys show their great sense of
humor with comedic antics of the drunk and funny. If you got a passion for
cars and are in love with the scene I'd definitely pic up a copy of Grip
video volume 5. Oh ya and dont forget about their previous videos as well.
I sure as hell can't wait to see what's brewing at the Grip factory so be
sure to stay tuned.
