360 Video -JDM Insider Vol.2
By Brian Chow
Who doesn’t wanna go to Japan? For those of you who have I’m sure you’d
like to go back and if you’re like me you are dying to go. The Tokyo Auto
Salon, the city life and the street scene among others are a few of my
reasons. Japan is one of the places on the Racesauce wish list where we
would love to go. Since we’re unable at the moment the next best thing is
to have others go for us to show what it’s like.
The guys from 360VM have teamed up with H2 productions to bring us their
second release of JDM insider. This time they head over to Top Secret’s
infamous shop for a small tour and a peak at some insame rides. Manabu
Orido opens up the doors to his house to show what it is like to be a race
car driver and D1 judge. His Supra is dope! Next at an undisclosed
location they go for some dope night drifting with T and E. Due to the
mafia and cops though they had to make due with what they could get. It
was crazy!, full on drifting with oncoming traffic sometimes.
Kazama’s circuit day was off the hook. The Vertex Soarer really put on
some nice side ways action. The whole event reminded me of Driftsession
but in Japan, drift cars were everywhere. D1 driver and T and E president
Takahiro Ueno sits down for an interview. His idea and philosophy are
really interesting. The next night drifting segment was cool. It really
reminded me of a car cruise and you know what came into mind. Hehe.
Those of you who don’t know what a Toyota Verosa is will know soon enough.
Why can’t we have them here? O well, maybe one day perhaps, probably not
though. Mr. Ueno and his boys took 360 out to put on a show in Yokohama.
One thing I noticed throughout this video was the use of navigation
systems in many of the cars, very informative. The drivers in all the
night segments were the bomb.
Now I really want to visit Japan even more. This video is great, when
there are skilled people behind the scenes you really come out with a
great product. Style is key too, each video has its own style, for me as
long as the content is good it really doesn’t matter. Funny charades just
add more to the whole thing. So go out there and get your hands on JDM
insider volume 2 or even volume 1. I’m pretty sure you won’t be
disappointed.
