REFLEX MEDIA - "GO"

GO comes straight outta the midwest, from Chicago actually. This is Reflex Media's second DVD, and "GO" is filled with alot of content. Featuring Streetcar Showoff, Irev, HIN and others mixed with a tech feature, model interviews and some Chicago crews, this DVD seems to capture more of the lifestyle side to the import scene as opposed to other videos.

I have to say that this video is packed with lots of girls. Cholene and Lauren are beautiful. The one thing about this video that stands out is the length. It's two hours long! Most videos are only one hour but GO is two. I also found it intresting, and kind of educating that the import scene is so alive in various parts of the country, and not just the West Coast.

As far as technique used by Reflex, I'd have to give it 5 stars. I'm not being easy but you'll agree with me after watching the video. Their creativeness is definetely something to watch out for, especially their martial arts scenes haha! Most informative, piece I found in this video was the tour of finestmodels dot com.
I noticed in the B-boy segment, the use of a crooked camera angle. I haven't seen it used in a video before but it seemed to work. The street racing segments came out fine although I'm not sure what camera Reflex Media uses. The only one I saw was a Canon GL1. The quality of footage and editing doesn't seem like a second DVD, it's top notch and like all videos I'm sure it has progressed. GO is definitely a go and I recommend you pick up a copy. I give GO 4.5 stars outta 5 I can't wait to see what's up next.
