HellaFlush IV - Aloha Kings
Keehi Lagoon / February 28, 2010

According to Urbandictionary.com (2009), “hellaflush” means “wheel offset and small tires on a slammed vehicle = hellaflush”; in proper English, it means the combination of having small tires stretched on an aggressive wheel offset and fitment on a ridiculously lowered vehicle. It is not so much about the car, but more so of the wheels. Some people love the appearance when a car is considered flush, while some hate the non-functionality of having such a wheel and tire combination. But to each his own. . .

But on Sunday February 28th, 2010 (the postponed date due to the tsunami dud in Hawaii), a California based lifestyle media magazine company that is popular for their website blog on hellaflush cars brought its 4th installment of its car show to the shores of Honolulu, Hawaii. Despite having the show postponed a day later and the drizzling rain (because it was an outdoor event), spectator and participant turnout was actually very crowded and successful considering that Honolulu’s automotive scene has gone low in the past few years. There was something for everybody as the show featured not only having cars that are almost rarely ever seen on the street, but also street cars (that are of course tuned or hellaflush) that otherwise would not be seen in other car shows.
