NEO STREET
Neil Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, Honolulu Hawaii, August 23rd & 24th 2008

With a pretty bent out of shape U.S. economy, no automotive race track on Oahu. Its' pretty easy to see that the aftermarket automotive scene has hit some rough times in Hawaii. Local shop owners have said they used to sell three to four sets of rims per month, now they are even lucky if they can sell one set of rims. Key industry shops like Hyper Sports closed there doors in late 2006, and we've seen other shops that sold there names to shops set on making there name a one stop shop with multiply locations. The only hearbeat that keeps this particular automotive scene alive is its various car shows, and underground gatherings. But it doesn't help when the Honolulu Police Department added a new Speed Enforcement Unit just for those those public underground gatherings. The question is when will Hawaii build another race track, or if ever to drive this luxury automotive economy back and keep the kids off the streets from killing themselves?

Neo Street, previously Street Car Showoff produced by Street Car Industries held its annual August car show. A booty, bikini, and bboy contest took place along with various musical acts.

This year we've decided to break down our photo's by the photographers who took the photos. Scroll down to view the photos and show winners.
